Jake is an Associate at Fragomen’s Boston office, where he handles an array of immigrant and nonimmigrant matters. He has experience advising clients on immigration case strategies and managing large, complex caseloads for multinational companies in various industries, including finance, banking, investment management, architecture, hospitality, engineering, enterprise software, international grantmaking and research, and biotechnology. Jake also has experience advising clients on the distinctive immigration requirements for O-1 and EB-1A Extraordinary Ability petitions, as well as EB-1C Multinational Manager applications. Jake has in-depth experience advising on the distinctive immigration requirements of colleges and universities and works on behalf of professors and researchers to secure EB-1 Outstanding Professor/Researcher Visas and, when appropriate, National Interest and J-1 Waivers. Additionally, he advises investors, entrepreneurs and startup companies on comprehensive immigration strategies to remain competitive and at the top of their respective fields.

Prior to his current role, Jake served as a Summer Associate and Associate at Fragomen’s New York office, as well as a Judicial Extern with the California Court of Appeal, Second Appellate District in Los Angeles, California under the honorable Sandy R. Kriegler (Ret.). Jake has a Certificate of Advanced Study in Intercultural Negotiation and Mediation, as well as a Certificate in International and Comparative Law from Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany.

Jake’s pro bono experience includes representing individuals seeking Special Immigrant Juvenile Status and asylum.
