Laxmi is a Senior Manager and Solicitor based in our Sheffield office, with over 17 years of UK immigration experience. In her role, she manages a team of lawyers and immigration professionals. Laxmi assists corporate clients from a range of industries including technology, engineering, and manufacturing. She is adept at providing complex, strategic legal advice on global relocation to the UK, and cross border and multi-jurisdictional matters.
Laxmi assists with all aspects of UK immigration law, including private client matters involving family migration and extended family members. She also advises on investment, settlement and British nationality applications and options available outside of the Immigration Rules. Laxmi has extensive experience with discretionary applications, government concessions and applications under the Ukraine Family Scheme, Homes for Ukraine and the Ukraine Extension Scheme.
Prior to joining Fragomen, Laxmi worked at a regional firm where she headed an immigration office. She provided immigration and asylum advice, including pro bono work, and carried out extensive advocacy at the First and Upper Tier Tribunals, assisting clients with complex immigration matters.
