Lunga is the Practice Leader for Sub-Saharan Africa and looks after the Johannesburg and Nairobi offices. In this role, he is responsible for growing the Sub-Saharan Africa operations of the firm and ensuring best-in-class immigration services are provided throughout the continent.
Lunga has experience in leadership, people management and strategic and operations optimization. His broad exposure to a variety of environments is an asset to the South Africa practice as it continues to grow.
Prior to joining Fragomen, Lunga worked at a South Africa-based telecommunications company with a footprint spanning more than 20 countries. He first joined the company in the Commercial Legal Department, and most recently served as the Senior Manager of Operations. During his tenure with the company, Lunga was invited to participate in the Leadership Talent Management program, where he completed trainings on growing high potential talent, and leadership and people management skills.
Lunga completed his articles and practiced as a Senior Associate with one of the top law firms in Africa from 2003 until 2007.
Lunga is fluent in English, Xhosa and Zulu. He also can converse in Sotho and Tswana.
