Mikhail (Mike) is a Senior Associate in the New York office. He advises clients on non-immigrant and immigrant visa matters, including business and family matters, complex cases and compliance. Mike represents a variety of corporate clients, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies. He also heads a Private Client team with a particular focus on EB-5, individuals pursing immigration on a familial relationship, as well investors and individuals in the creative arts.
Prior to joining Fragomen, Mike worked for a well-known boutique immigration firm in New York, where he made frequent appearances on behalf of clients before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the New York City Immigration Court.
During law school, Mike served as the Executive Editor of the Cardozo Journal of International and Comparative Law.
As part of his pro bono work, Mike has represented individuals in affirmative asylum filings as well as appeals.
Mike speaks English and Russian and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
