Pauline is Senior Counsel based in Fragomen's London office.

She was instrumental in establishing Fragomen’s practices in the UK, Belgium, the Middle East, Germany, and Switzerland, and continues to lead Fragomen’s initiative to grow our footprint throughout the world.

She has advanced knowledge of immigration legislation in many countries of the world, with a particular focus on immigration legislation, policy and culture in Africa and the Middle East.

Pauline is deeply involved with Fragomen’s efforts to increase our government advisory service offerings in response to the growing need to negotiate positions on behalf of our clients. 

Pauline has led global engagements for some of the world’s largest corporations.

She uses her extensive experience to aid in the development of service delivery and value-added models to meet the needs of clients, with a special emphasis on helping clients as they grow into emerging markets.

Pauline has prior experience as partner of a Big Four firm, where she established and led their global immigration practice.

Former Member, Australian government’s Deveson Committee (appointed by the Minister for Immigration to review business migration to Australia)

Former Member, Australian government’s Roach Committee (appointed by the Minister for Immigration to review and restructure programs for temporary business entry to Australia)

Former Member, the Australian government’s Migration Advisory Board (appointed by the Minister of Immigration to maintain a business-based watching brief and provide ongoing recommendations for the improvement of business entry policy to Australia)

Former President, the Migration Institute of Australia

Former Member, Australian Business Advisory Panel (a standing committee appointed by the Minister for Immigration and Ethnic Affairs to advise on all business entry programs for both temporary and permanent entry into Australia)

Experience

Negotiated regional headquarters agreements to allow an international corporation to introduce significant numbers of workers who fell outside immigration policy

Advised several global corporations in the preparation of significant submissions required to establish operations and introduce large numbers of non-nationals in quota restricted countries

Advised corporations on the cultural, economic, labor and training-related issues to be addressed when negotiating localization agreements with governments in emerging countries

Advised several national governments on immigration policy review
