Yushen (Christina) is an Associate at Fragomen’s San Francisco office, where she counsels multinational corporate clients in the technology industry on a wide range of U.S. employment-based permanent residency and nonimmigrant matters. She has extensive experience managing high-volume immigration case files, including those in the EB-1A, EB-1B, EB-2 NIW and O-1 categories. Christina also has experience drafting and reviewing legal petitions, including RFE responses and I-140 petitions.
Prior to joining the firm, Christina led a team of legal writers, ensuring the accuracy of complex immigration documents and maintaining effective client communication. She conducted in depth legal research, stayed updated on changes in immigration law and applied these findings to case strategies. She has successfully coordinated and assisted outstanding researchers, scientists and professors across various STEM fields with securing visa approvals through meticulous preparation and documentation. During her externship at the Circuit Court of Cook County, Christina conducted in-depth legal research, drafted judicial orders and assisted in managing remote court proceedings. She was pivotal in optimizing court resources and ensuring the smooth operation of more than 100 remote court calls.
During law school, Christina served as the President of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association. From 2019 to 2022, Christina provided pro bono assistance through the Chinatown Pro Bono Legal Clinic, where she provided free legal assistance to underprivileged communities. She also served as a student representative for the Chinese American Bar Association of Greater Chicago from 2019 to 2021 and as a student member of the Asian American Bar Association of Chicago from 2020 to 2021, contributing to various community outreach and legal support initiatives.
Christina speaks English and is proficient in Mandarin Chinese.
