If you’re a foreign national looking to visit, live and/or work in Lebanon, a few options are available.
- Business Visits: As a business visitor, you'll need to secure an Entry Visa from a Lebanese consular post. Entry visas are generally valid anywhere from fifteen days to one month, depending on your citizenship and are renewable. If you're a citizen of Australia, Canada, most European countries, and the United States, you may obtain a Single Visa when you arrive at Beirut International Airport without the need to secure your visa before you travel. Additionally, for those in the oil and gas sector, the business visa allows short-term work under special authority issued specifically for industry players.
- Work Authorization: If you plan to work in Lebanon for over two months, you'll need a Work Permit and Residence Permit, valid for one year, renewable one month before it expires.
- Internships/Traineeships: There is no trainee-specific work authorization in Lebanon.
- Self-employment: There are no work authorization programs dedicated to potential investors or entrepreneurs in Lebanon.
