APAC Advisory & Compliance Team Partners with the Business Advisory Group on Migration on Research Paper

Fragomen's Mark Buchanan, Charles Johanes, Anna Ma (Ke Ma), Denise Gan and Carlos Agana worked in partnership with the Business Advisory Group on Migration to author a research paper on the regulations of the recruitment of foreign workers in the Asia-Pacific region, in consideration of the International Labour Organization's Private Employment Agencies Convention 181.

Cross border movement is multifaceted, and recruitment is a key area. This paper is intended to help facilitate further discussion on the UN's Global Compact for Migration Objective 6, to “Facilitate fair and ethical recruitment and safeguard conditions that ensure decent work.”
