Fragomen Senior Director, Roy Ren, is speaking at the European Chamber in China 2023 HR Conference: ESG and Data Protection on Thursday, 19 October.
This year, the conference is focusing on two key themes that are shaping the HR landscape in China and beyond, the impact of the Personal Information Protection Law on HR operations, and the intersection of ESG and talent retention.
As HR leaders navigate the increasingly complex legal landscape surrounding data protection, it is essential to understand the implications of the Personal Information Protection Law on HR operations. The conference features speakers who will provide insights into how HR leaders can ensure compliance with data protection regulations and mitigate risk in their operations.
At the same time, the ESG movement is gaining momentum, and HR leaders are increasingly expected to play a role in building a sustainable workforce. The discussion will explore strategies for leveraging ESG to attract and retain top talent, and how HR leaders can build a culture that values diversity and inclusion, gender equality, and pay equality.
Roy will be moderating Panel Discussion One: The Role of HR in Ensuring Compliance with Data Protection Regulations.
The European Chamber invites HR leaders to join this event to connect with peers, learn from industry professionals and gain insights into the latest trends and best practices in HR.
