We are pleased to announce Partner Ryan Freel as head of the firm’s Houston office.

Ryan’s career with Fragomen spans 20 years across many of the firm’s offices, including Chicago, New York, Singapore, Johannesburg and Washington, DC.

“Since the opening of the firm’s Houston office in 2014, we have responded to the needs of one of the fastest growing and diverse populations in the U.S.,” said Andrew Greenfield, Partner and member of Fragomen’s Executive Committee. “Ryan’s stellar leadership, along with his unique understanding of the Houston market will be a benefit to clients and businesses who are looking to increase their workforce in the state’s largest city.”

Ryan previously directed the inception and development of the firm’s Singapore office with great results and brings outstanding capabilities to his new management role. A Houston resident for nearly a decade, Ryan has witnessed the explosive growth of the area and has a keen understanding of the needs of the key industries, such as energy and technology, that are fueling the expansion.

“I am excited to be at the helm of the firm’s growing practice in Houston, helping to further drive and develop our customized immigration market offering for a variety of clients and businesses who are facing increased workforce challenges,” said Ryan.

Ryan will lead the team of over 20 lawyers and immigration professionals in Houston, all of whom are equipped to offer the full range of U.S. and international immigration services, as well as the unique, specific focus on document procurement issues and assistance to offshore operators and service providers.
