F2R is an organization that empowers women in conflict zones through running, addressing the challenges adolescent girls and young women face and helping them overcome societal limitations on physical activity. Margaret's love for running and passion for advancing justice for women and children cultivated her continued work with the organization, ultimately allowing her to bring six young women and their relatives to safety in the US through humanitarian applications—a groundbreaking effort that had never before been attempted by an organization in this context.
