The Stage: EU restrictions on British touring unlikely to ease despite Labour ambitions

The Labour party had hoped to improve UK workers’ access to the EU, especially for touring musicians, but the EU remains resistant to easing restrictions. Manager Andreia Ghimis told The Stage that the current European Commission is not likely to propose any new legislation that would ease the entry barriers and in fact, that UK workers should prepare for stricter visa requirements and new entry systems in the coming months.
