Serving as Managing Director, Digital Identity, Amit advises organizations on the intersection of digital identity, financial integrity, regulatory compliance and emerging technologies. With more than 25 years of experience spanning government, financial services, regulatory policy and technology innovation, he helps clients navigate complex regulatory environments while advancing trusted identity solutions that support corporate and infrastructure enterprise, highly regulated industries such as financial services and education, and across global mobility, compliance and business transformation. 

Before joining Fragomen, Amit served as Head of Global and Digital Strategy & Ecosystem Growth at IDEMIA Public Security, where he worked with governments, financial institutions, large corporate infrastructure enterprises and technology organizations to advance digital identity, biometrics and AI-enabled security solutions. Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership positions with the U.S. Department of the Treasury, Mitsubishi UFJ Securities, Risk Assistance Network and Exchange (RANE), Command Global Services and FinClusive, a regulatory technology company he founded to develop identity-enabled financial crimes compliance solutions for traditional financial institutions, fintech companies and decentralized services including digital asset service providers. 

A former senior U.S. Treasury official and financial regulator, Amit has played a leading role in developing financial crimes compliance and economic security policies affecting banking, payments, securities, fintech and digital assets. He joined the U.S. Treasury during the establishment of the Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence, where he worked with regulators, policymakers and industry leaders worldwide on digital identity, privacy, financial inclusion, risk management and regulatory modernization. His experience spans traditional financial services as well as emerging technologies such as decentralized finance, Web3, verifiable credentials and artificial intelligence.
