Ángel is the Practice Leader in Fragomen’s Dublin office. He has over 14 years of professional experience in Irish immigration and citizenship matters. Ángel oversees our Irish team based in Dublin, which assists a diverse client base comprised of multinational corporations, SMEs, start-ups and private clients.

Prior to joining Fragomen, Ángel was a practising solicitor in Ireland and established and headed the immigration practice of a leading Irish law firm. He held a varied caseload of immigration, international protection and citizenship matters and conducted litigation at all levels of the Irish Courts. Ángel has also mentored trainee solicitors, paralegals and other professionals on Irish immigration law, policies and procedures.

Provided strategic advice to several multinational clients in the context of Brexit-related cross border mergers and moves to Ireland.

Involved in several Irish landmark judgments in immigration law, including Supreme Court rulings and a preliminary reference to the Court of Justice of the European Union.

Provided advice and representation regarding all Irish visa and immigration permission types and citizenship.

Provided advice and representation regarding all aspects of Irish immigration and citizenship, liaising with all relevant government Departments, the Garda National Immigration Bureau (GNIB) and Irish embassies.

Provided extensive pro bono support to a number of non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
