With more than 25 years of experience in immigration and nationality law—much of which has been dedicated to serving clients in the energy, oil and gas, utilities, healthcare and media industries—Julie has a passion for helping multinational corporations and United States-based companies solve their unique immigration considerations, specifically focusing on reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, lean processes, tailored VIP services and policy development needs. Julie is frequently found addressing clients’ immigration and mobility needs while wearing a hard hat and steel-toe boots.

Clients appreciate Julie’s ability to streamline their processes, find cost-effective solutions and create efficiencies that ultimately improve their overall global immigration programs. She deftly combines her understanding of clients’ individualized needs with her dedication to leveraging technology and data analytics to achieve the best possible outcomes for both organizations and employees alike. Her long-term experience working in a wide array of industries allows her to anticipate needs, provide industry benchmarking data and propose strategies for clients so they can ensure availability of work-ready talent. Julie is committed to ensuring the experiences of the client and the individual employee complement one another.

Recognized by a variety of business outlets and higher education institutions for her work in the immigration and mobility space, Julie has also published several articles for International HR Adviser, the New York Law Journal and ILW.com. She is a frequent speaker for industry and continuing legal education organizations.

Julie serves as a Board Member of Neighbor’s Link, providing strategic direction and leadership advice to help build stronger communities through immigration empowerment and integration. She is also passionate about pro bono work, currently representing a family from Honduras in an asylum and Special Immigrant Juvenile (SIJ) petition and working with DACA students.

Julie is a native English and Spanish speaker.
