Lance is Fragomen’s Co-Chair and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. He works alongside Co-Chair Enrique Gonzalez, leading the worldwide firm of more than 6,000 immigration professionals and support staff in more than 60 offices across the Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific.

In addition to working with the rest of the firm’s leadership to set and execute on Fragomen’s operational and expansion goals, Lance is deeply focused on driving innovative solutions and developing new technologies to assist our clients and is an active board member of the Global Acceptance Network. He is also responsible for cultivating strategies to hire and retain the brightest immigration talent around the globe. As a result of his deep knowledge of global immigration, Lance was instrumental in developing the firm’s COVID-19 response for clients around the world.

Prior to his appointment to Co-Chair, Lance served as the Managing Partner of Fragomen’s International Practice Group, where he oversaw the firm’s interests in all its non-U.S. locations. In this role, Lance developed and executed the firm’s international expansion strategy, significantly growing the global footprint – a strategy he continues to build on in his role of Co-Chair.

He has represented some of the world’s largest multinational corporations spanning a wide range of industries. Lance has extensive experience in formulating and implementing sophisticated worldwide global mobility programs that comply with the immigration laws and regulations of jurisdictions around the world. He also advised clients with respect to extremely complex and highly sensitive country-specific matters. 

Known for his acumen with respect to global immigration, Lance has presented to the United Nations and has testified before the U.S. House Subcommittee on Immigration and before the U.S. Senate. He has also participated in numerous government panels addressing immigration issues and he has advised government committees with respect to best practices in the context of global immigration. 

Prior to joining Fragomen, Lance was the Partner responsible for global immigration at a Big Four accounting firm. Based in Australia, he represented large international companies with respect to in-bound Australia matters as well as global and regional immigration matters. Prior to relocating to Australia, Lance practiced U.S. immigration law in California for eight years.
