Mikhail (Mike) is a Senior Associate in the New York office. He practices in the area of U.S. immigration law and advises clients on nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters, including corporate and family matters, complex cases and the immigration consequences of criminal pleas. Mike represents various individual and corporate clients, including small and medium-sized companies, individuals in the creative arts and clients pursuing immigration on the basis of a familial relationship.
Prior to joining Fragomen, Mike worked for a well-known boutique immigration firm in New York, where he made frequent appearances on behalf of clients before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection Agency, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and the New York City Immigration Court.
During law school, Mike served as the Executive Editor of the Cardozo Journal of International and Comparative Law.
Mike has assisted clients in family-based adjustment of status cases, affirmative asylum applications, and numerous other matters.
Mike speaks English and Russian and has a working knowledge of Spanish.
