As part of Fragomen’s Miami team, Stephania counsels international and domestic corporations, multinational companies, foreign investors and professionals on their U.S. immigration-related needs.
Her practice is focused on advising multinational companies seeking nonimmigrant and immigrant visas for their employees, including L-1A/L-1B visas for multinational executives, managers and specialized knowledge professionals; NAFTA professionals; persons of extraordinary ability; persons of national interest to the U.S.; E-treaty investors and traders; and EB-5 investors. Stephania is well versed in the L-1 Blanket Petition program, including qualifying multinational companies, advising on corporate structuring for eligibility purposes and providing legal guidance at extension and amendment stages. Stephania also regularly advises and represents U.S. employers in I-9 audits conducted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Prior to joining Fragomen, Stephania focused on business immigration, as well as family-based immigration at a national law firm. She has successfully represented individuals before the U.S. Immigration Courts and regularly advised clients on the immigration consequences of criminal dispositions.
