Fragomen Partners Mitch Wexler and Blake Miller will present during the EB5AN session, "Addressing Challenges Faced by Nonimmigrant (H-1B) Visa Holders and How EB-5 with Adjustment of Status can be a Solution" on Friday, July 28 from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EDT.
About the Event:
The EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act of 2022 now enables EB-5 investors to simultaneously file an Adjustment of Status petition (I-485) along with their Immigrant Petition (I-526E). This provision is accessible to all EB-5 investors, including those from China, India, and Vietnam. By adopting this strategy, investors have received Employment Authorization within 2 months of submitting their I-526E Petition.
During the session the panelists will explain the common challenges that nonimmigrant visa holders encounter and the potential challenges they may face when adjusting their status in the U.S.
Topics of discussion will include:
- Common problems for nonimmigrant visa holders
- How EB-5 with adjustment of status can solve these problems
- EB-5 with adjustment of status immigration timeline
