Brazil Managing Director Diogo Kloper highlights a major update to Brazil’s immigration policy that changes what foreign nationals can do in the country under visitor status.
In this Mobility Minute, Diogo explains that as of October 8, foreign nationals are now permitted to perform short-term technical and technology transfer activities in Brazil without a temporary work visa. While this new measure allows for faster deployment of short-term projects, it also requires careful attention — there are limits on duration (up to 90 days, renewable once for another 90 days) and differences by nationality that must be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
To better understand these changes and how to apply the new rules safely, Diogo invites you to join Fragomen’s webinar on Thursday, October 16, where the team will discuss practical impacts and answer key questions.
