Sponsor licence revocations have more than doubled in the past year, with construction employers facing some of the highest risks. Common issues include illegal working, errors on Certificates of Sponsorship and failures in document retention. Once a licence is revoked there is no right of appeal, which can affect a business’s ability to sponsor workers and may have wider operational impacts.
