Giving back to our communities is one of the core values at Fragomen. Our attorneys and staff across the globe are committed to various community service as well as pro bono projects providing free legal advice to indigent immigrants.
Our commitment is reflected in the firm's effort to send several contingents of attorneys to provide pro bono services to immigrant families at detention centers in Texas, for the fourth year in a row in 2018. Read more here and get an insider perspective about what it is like to volunteer at South Texas Family Residential Center in this blog by our Partner Jill Bloom.
As every year, our teams in 2018, participated and supported many noteworthy causes. These ranged from supporting causes geared toward raising awareness and funds for cancer, initiatives aimed at fighting homelessness to volunteering as teaching assistants for refugees, and sorting and packing books to be sent to students in Africa as well as numerous Christmas and holiday season fundraisers and donations.
