March 15, 2024
Single-Entry Visit Visa holders who seek to enter Indonesia to conduct pre-investment or apprenticeship activities can now extend their Visit Visa for 180 days per extension (up from 60 days per extension), provided their overall stay does not exceed 12 months. Those who intend to conduct government duties or undergo a probationary period for work may extend their Visit Visa for 60 days per extension (up from 30 days per extension), provided their overall stay does not exceed 12 months. Additionally, Multiple-Entry Visit Visa holders who seek to enter Indonesia to conduct pre-investment activities or government duties may extend their Visit Visa for 180 days (up from 60 days) or 60 days (up from 30 days), depending on the activities, provided their overall stay does not exceed 12 months. For other regular business activities, the current rule allowing Visit Visa holders to extend their visa up to two times, in 60-day increments, for a maximum stay of 180 days stills applies.
