In collaboration with Accent, SD Worx, VDAB and Voka, Senior Associate Wout Van Doren contributed to the Voka Wijzer report focused on recruiting talent from outside the European Union.
The report delves into the opportunities and challenges of attracting non-EU workers willing to move to Belgium, specifically the Flanders region. The report highlights the streamlined process of the single permit procedure which combines the work and residence permit into a single application. This integrated approach simplifies the administrative burden and fosters a more efficient pathway for non-EU talent to join the Belgian workforce.
This development is crucial for companies looking to expand their talent pool and bring diverse expertise into the region. This initiative enhances the ability of businesses in Belgium to compete on a global scale by attracting top talent from around the world.
For more details, check out the full report in Voka Wijzer.
