A solutions-oriented lawyer, Amy provides strategic immigration counsel, and develops and implements efficient processes for clients in the financial, architectural, technology, engineering, sports, fashion and non-profit industries, among many others. She advises human resources and global mobility leads on all major employment-based temporary and permanent visa categories and immigration compliance to help the companies meet their talent objectives across all jurisdictions. As someone who has worked with clients across nearly every industry, Amy has the ability to draw on past experiences and quickly pivot to a resolution that best meets the clients’ needs on a local or worldwide scale. Amy also advises clients on family-based permanent resident applications.

An empathetic person by nature, Amy understands how daunting the immigration process can be and ensures that both corporate clients and their employees feel understood and heard. Her personalized approach and focus on the employee experience at the front and center of service delivery have resulted in numerous long-term professional relationships. Amy is also known for her responsiveness, dedication and accessibility as well as quick-thinking during crisis situations—something that was critical to so many clients during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Amy was drawn to immigration law while attending law school and working as the Chief Aide to the President of the American Civil Liberties Union in the post 9/11 landscape. She is committed to successfully guiding her clients through changing policies and making an impact on the U.S. economy by helping attract and retain key talent.

Equally passionate about pro bono services, Amy has worked with non-profit organizations to assist children with immigration matters as well as helping detained immigrant mothers and children. She has been instrumental in helping establish the U.S. Talent Beyond Boundaries program and connecting displaced talent to potential employers. Last, but not least, building on her beliefs in giving back, Amy is very involved in the firm’s mentoring program helping young attorneys develop professionally.
