Anastasija (Anastasia) is a Senior Associate at Fragomen’s London office, where she advises Child Student and Student Sponsor License holders on all aspects of compliance with UK immigration law. As part of her role in the Education practice, Anastasia manages a varied client portfolio, helping clients navigate complex compliance requirements by providing bespoke advisory and immigration services.

Anastasia’s diverse experience across UK immigration, human rights, litigation and business management gives her an excellent understanding of clients’ corporate and personal needs.

Before joining Fragomen, Anastasia advised corporate and private clients on applications across all the categories of the Points Based System, as well as Appendix FM cases, visit visas, applications under the EEA Regulations, appendix EU and Nationality applications. Anastasia has a particular interest in complex matters and has previously worked on a number of high profile claims for judicial review, representing claimants in cases concerning administrative detention, injunctive relief against removal and various other challenges to the policies of the Secretary of State for the Home Department.

Anastasia trained within civil and commercial litigation, business immigration and public law departments and has represented individuals seeking to make initial claims for asylum, appeals against adverse decisions to the First-tier / Upper Tribunal, as well as matters including (but not limited to) various civil claims against private individuals and corporate entities.

Anastasia speaks English, Lithuanian and Russian.
