Azeem is a Senior Manager and solicitor based in our London office and has worked exclusively in the field of UK immigration law for over five years. Azeem represents a number of large multinational and blue chip companies across a number of different sectors including consulting, finance, insurance, digital marketing, oil & gas, energy, advertising and media. 

Azeem regularly advises multinational companies and SMEs on all aspects of the UK Immigration Rules, especially in relation to sponsor licensing and Tier 2 of the Points Based System. This includes managing sponsor licenses, preparing clients for government audits as well as advising on developing internal policies to ensure compliance.  With regards to compliance matters in particular, he has significant experience in negotiating with the Home Office to ensure clients’ interests are best protected where possible. He also has extensive experience on advising on Tier 1, EEA, indefinite leave to remain, sole representative and naturalisation matters. 

Azeem was recently involved in a complex multi-billion dollar acquisition of a large energy company, involving the transfer of hundreds of migrant workers and surrendering of various sponsor licences. As part of this project, Azeem was heavily involved in undertaking the immigration due diligence prior to and during the acquisition. He also regularly advises clients on large scale projects which involve the deployment of entire teams to undertake urgent work in the UK. 

Prior to joining Fragomen in 2011, Azeem worked with another leading firm in the City.
