Mark’s practice spans the full spectrum of immigrant and nonimmigrant visa work, helping businesses secure and retain top global talent essential for innovation, leadership and growth.

Based in Salt Lake City, Mark works with clients across industries such as mining, tourism, manufacturing, biotech, technology, education, research and space. He plays a critical role in enabling companies to navigate complex immigration processes, ensuring they can bring in key executives and specialized professionals who drive competitive advantage and operational expansion. His strategic, proactive approach helps businesses align immigration processes with their broader objectives while minimizing delays and compliance risks.

Mark is particularly skilled at handling high-stakes, time-sensitive cases, including Requests for Evidence, Notices of Intent to Deny and other challenging motions. He doesn’t just process visas—he anticipates challenges, provides solutions and ensures that clients’ key hires can contribute without unnecessary roadblocks. Known for his adaptability, Mark supports immigration programs at any scale, from small businesses with a single foreign national employee to Fortune 500 corporations managing thousands of cases. His ability to tailor his guidance to HR teams, executives and employees alike ensures a seamless immigration experience.

Clients appreciate Mark’s practical and clear communication style, free of legal jargon, which helps employees feel informed and reassured throughout the process. He understands that immigration law is a constantly evolving landscape influenced by policy shifts, government discretion and geopolitical events. What may seem like a routine case one year could face unexpected hurdles the next, which is why he emphasizes a strategic, forward-thinking approach to mitigate risks and avoid disruptions.

Prior to joining Fragomen, he worked in Brussels, Belgium, with an international organization, providing legal and policy analysis on international humanitarian law, public international law and emerging technology fields. He also collaborated with international staff and diplomatic missions on complex legal issues related to international security.
