Marko is an Associate at Fragomen’s Washington, DC office, where he assists multinational corporate clients on all aspects of corporate U.S. immigration, including nonimmigrant visas, permanent residence and citizenship. He has experience with employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant cases, asylum and family-based visa cases. Marko has successfully represented clients before USCIS, immigration courts, the Administrative Appeals Office and the Board of Immigration Appeals.
Prior to joining Fragomen, Marko worked as a consultant for an international financial institutions and focused on displaced persons’ rights in the Europe & Central Asia region. Marko has also lectured on International Law, Refugees and Asylum Law, and Minority Rights at various high schools, universities and conferences.
Marko has provided pro bono representation for asylum seekers and served as an expert witness in immigration courts. Marko has also served as a country condition expert in a number of LGTBI cases.
Marko speaks Bosnian, Croatian, English, Montenegrin and Serbian.
