Rasheeq is an Associate at Fragomen’s New York office, where he provides immigration services to multinational corporate clients across a variety of industries, including financial services, investment banking, technology, legal, video game and digital entertainment. He assists clients with both employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant visas, including related Requests for Evidence and Audits. He also assists clients with family-based immigration matters.
Prior to joining Fragomen, Rasheeq worked at a nonprofit, where he defended individuals in Family Court Proceedings. He previously also worked at a boutique business immigration firm, where he assisted clients in the finance, technology, and construction industries with obtaining employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant visas. Rasheeq also worked at a local removal defense firm, focusing on asylum and cancellation of removal proceedings.
During law school, Rasheeq participated in Fordham University School of Law’s Immigrant Rights Clinic, where he assisted with affirmative asylum matters.
Rasheeq speaks Bengali and English.
