Valentina is a Senior Business Immigration Attorney at Fragomen’s Ecuador office, where she delivers comprehensive migratory services tailored to both foreigners journeying to Ecuador and Ecuadorians living or traveling abroad. Her principal objective is to ensure her clients undergo a seamless and rewarding immigration journey, despite the inherent challenges associated with such a personal and professional endeavor.
Valentina has held public office and private positions in a variety of industries, including education and compliance.
Prior to joining Fragomen, Valentina was a Director at a compliance services company, where she and her team partnered with clients to build cultures of integrity and compliance that were adapted to each distinct organization.
Valentina also worked at an Ecuadorian state office, where she led a 20-person team overseeing the Ecuadorian government’s scholarship programs. One of her most significant accomplishments during her tenure was bringing a strike to a successful conclusion by partnering with scholarship holders from an esteemed university who had not received the benefits they were intended to receive.
Valentina also provided in-house legal counsel for Universidad San Francisco de Quito’s Department of Regulation and University Processes. Among other duties, Valentina counselled research professors from various fields on study on how to conduct their novel research projects in compliance with laws and regulations.
