Fragomen Appoints Kanaan Generette Oliver as Firm’s Global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Director

New York, November 19, 2021 - Fragomen is pleased to announce that Kanaan Generette Oliver has been appointed as Global Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI). Kanaan brings to Fragomen vast experience from AmLaw 100 firms, where she designed and implemented strategies to recruit, retain, develop, and elevate minorities, women and LGBTQ+ attorneys.

In her new role, Kanaan will be responsible for continuing Fragomen’s pursuit of propelling DEI initiatives into all facets of the firm. She will work with Fragomen’s DEI Co-Chairs, the Chief People Officer, affinity groups, recruitment teams and DEI-focused committees to further enhance the firm’s longstanding and proud commitment to increasing diverse representation and inclusion, where everyone is encouraged to bring their true selves and identities to work.
