MANILA, Philippines – 17 June, 2025 – Fragomen, the world’s leading provider of immigration services, deepens its capabilities in the Philippines with its new office in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), the leading business and lifestyle district in Metro Manila. Fragomen’s Manila office bolsters the firm's ability to support with both the Philippines-inbound immigration processes as well as provide support for Filipino workers moving abroad. The firm is also focused on providing enhanced support for the Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC), a mandatory requirement for millions of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) and a cornerstone of compliant international labor deployment.
“The Filipino economy is experiencing strong growth, with foreign investments flowing into key sectors such as manufacturing, IT, financial services, real estate and tourism—buoyed by recent government reforms,” said Lance Kaplan, Co-Chair of Fragomen. “As a result, we are seeing increasing cross-border business activity and international workforce mobility as companies seek to leverage the country’s extensive talent.”
“The Philippines is one of the fastest-growing economies in the region and a major source of skilled labor for global industries,” added Mark Buchanan, Regional Partner, Asia Pacific. “By reinforcing our presence in Manila, we are enhancing our support to clients with both inbound and outbound immigration needs, especially as nearly two million Filipinos work overseas.”
The Manila office is overseen by Partner Kenneth Lau and led by Director Ramona Perera, whose considerable experience includes heading the firm’s Philippines team in Fragomen’s Asia Pacific Coordination Centre in Singapore prior to moving to Manila last year to manage the new office.
“Our dedicated team in Manila allows us to engage more directly with local stakeholders and address the nuanced challenges of outbound mobility,” said Lau. “This office also reaffirms our commitment to support clients with operations in the Philippines and further extends our capabilities across the Asia Pacific region.”
Fragomen Manila delivers a comprehensive suite of services including strategic immigration advisory, document procurement, visa processing, government liaison services and enhanced support for key outbound services.
