Fragomen Selects Beth Nichols as 2022 Fellow to Participate in Talent Beyond Boundaries Programme

We are proud to announce that Beth Nichols is the recipient of the 2022 Fragomen Fellowship, a fully-funded, initial 12 month programme during which Beth will work for Talent Beyond Boundaries (TBB), a group of affiliated not-for-profit and charitable organisations, to help connect displaced people to employers.

With more than eight years of experience in the refugee sector, Beth brings to TBB a deep understanding of the current systems in place to help displaced people and the challenges faced by potential employers and refugees integrating in the UK. She also has extensive experience building relationships among organisations and displaced people and refugees.
Employers around the world in need of skilled workers often miss a significant pool of talent—forcibly displaced people, including refugees. Many displaced people have marketable skills but find themselves in countries where they do not have the right to work locally and are locked out of international skilled migration systems.
“We are proud to partner with TBB as the organisation not only continues its important work providing refugees with the necessary tools for security and self-sufficiency, but also improving access to talent for companies in an increasingly competitive market,” said Fragomen UK Managing Partner Nadine Goldfoot.
TBB has created a growing talent catalogue of more than 30,000 skilled displaced people. During her fellowship, Beth will serve as the UK Partnerships Lead to help make employers aware of TBB’s pool of talent, recruit from the catalogue and manage strategic partnerships with refugee-serving organisations, UN agencies, global employer and industry bodies, and donors.
