Kimberly is a seasoned immigration lawyer known for providing high-touch service and creative solutions to difficult immigration matters. She holds a wealth of experience and a proven track record in immigration law, dedicated to demystifying immigration processes to help organizations across various industries secure visas and green cards for their top talent. Kimberly also represents individuals, often finding solutions to immigration hurdles. She frequently lectures on developments in U.S. immigration law and global mobility trends, and she leverages her knowledge to craft training and compliance programs for employers.

A trusted advisor to HR and global mobility departments, she assists corporate clients in navigating the constantly evolving immigration landscape, proactively anticipating developments, including limited appointment availability at certain embassies, and planning accordingly with clients to overcome potential challenges. Over nearly two decades, Kimberly’s success rate has consistently remained high.

Kimberly has a deep focus on the life sciences industry, assisting scientists, physicians and researchers with relocating for work in the United States. She has worked with Fortune 500 pharmaceutical and biotech companies, renowned hospitals and medical device manufacturers. She has significant experience with J-1 and O-1 visas, cap-exempt H-1B visas for academic medical centers, waivers of the two-year home residency requirement and various green card options, such as Outstanding Researcher petitions, Schedule A, National Interest Waivers and PERM applications. Kimberly has also successfully secured a number of emergency visa interviews and travel waivers.

In addition to her life sciences work, Kimberly represents clients in the financial services and technology sectors, including investment banks, asset managers, hedge funds and major global e-commerce companies. Her nuanced understanding of the structures within financial services companies allows her to swiftly and effectively meet strict USCIS and other immigration authorities’ regulations. She has a successful history of filing L-1A visas, E-2 managerial visas and I-140 Multinational Manager petitions for various managerial and executive roles, as well as L-1B and E-2S essential visas and PERM applications for key employees.

Kimberly strives to be a true partner to her clients, working to deeply understand their industries, attend their events and integrating her knowledge into their legal strategies. Her creativity and willingness to think outside the box have led to successful outcomes where other attorneys saw no options. Her ability to ensure her clients feel safe and understood makes Kimberly appreciated and sought after—along with her relentless pursuit of solutions from which they will benefit.

As a dedicated Francophile, Kimberly is well-versed in U.S. immigration matters in France. She has a thorough understanding of the processes at the U.S. Embassy in Paris and maintains strong relationships in the region, consistently processing numerous E-2 and L-1 visa applications for her clients.

Kimberly is a devoted thought leader and has presented on various immigration law issues to Fortune 500 companies, the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the NYC Bar Association and National Public Radio (NPR). Kimberly also served as a Law Clerk for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, Immigration Unit from 2007-2008.

Beyond her professional achievements, Kimberly has a long-standing passion for the arts, particularly dance and theater, and is committed to promoting public school education. She serves as a board member of NYC Outward Bound Schools, supporting a network of transformative public schools across New York City.
