Maija is a Senior Immigration Program Manager (APAC/Global) based in Fragomen’s Matawan office. In this role, she is responsible for strategically consulting on and assisting with management of immigration services for a number of Fragomen’s corporate clients. Maija’s responsibilities include establishing protocols for delivery of immigration services for large multinationals with complex entity and management structures and ensuring adherence to these at a regional/global level; service level agreement measurements and accountability, account management reporting; advisory and process compliance support; transaction delivery oversight; and client relationship management.
Prior to her current position, Maija was a Global Client Services Manager in Fragomen’s Singapore and Sydney, Australia office. She also worked in the firm’s New Jersey, USA office from 2011 to 2014.
Between 2007 and 2011, Maija served as a Senior Associate/Manager within Fragomen’s Sydney, Australia office. Maija had responsibility for a diverse portfolio of corporate clients, focusing on their Australian immigration needs. Maija also assisted individuals who wished to independently migrate to and settle in Australia.
Maija also has over 12 years of immigration experience as an Australian solicitor and a registered migration agent.
Between 2008 and 2011, Maija was a regular presenter of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) sessions for migration advisors for the Immigration Advice & Rights Centre (IARC) and since 2009 has been an active contributor to the IARC newsletter.
