Melanie is an Associate at Fragomen’s Miami office, where she focuses her practice on U.S. nonimmigrant visas, permanent residence, citizenship and consular processing for a variety of clients.
Prior to joining Fragomen, Melanie worked as an immigration attorney with a focus on removal defense litigation, permanent residence, citizenship and consular processing. During law school, she was a Fellow for the Center of Applied Legal Studies Immigration Clinic, where she worked on an affirmative asylum case and was successful in aiding the client to receive a grant of asylum.
Melanie has provided pro bono assistance with client intake, screening and immigration application preparation with Catholic Charities and the CAIR Coalition.
Melanie speaks English and Spanish.
