Sarah is an Associate at Fragomen’s Phoenix office, where she focuses on nonimmigrant visa matters for a high-volume Fortune 100 corporation. She has provided immigration services to clients in a variety of sectors, including science and technology.
Prior to joining Fragomen, Sarah worked at a boutique immigration law firm, where she focused on removal defense before the Executive Office for Immigration Review and Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, and affirmative family- and humanitarian-based immigration, such as benefits under the Violence Against Women Act, U visas, Special Immigrant Juvenile petitions, Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals and humanitarian parole.
During law school, Sarah participated in a pro bono immigration clinic that handled casework for foreign nationals in immigration detention. During this time, she assisted with the preparation and drafting of motions to reopen previously denied asylum applications for foreign nationals in the U.S. that had been onboard the failed December 2017 DHS deportation flight to Somalia.
