Thalia is an Associate at Fragomen’s Maimi office, where she assists clients—specifically, colleges, universities and hospitals—with a variety of immigrant and nonimmigrant matters, including O-1s, EB-1s and National Interest Waivers. She also has experience working with multinational corporations on matters related to nonimmigrant visas, including L-1As, L-1Bs and Blanket Ls, as well as EB-1C petitions.

Thalia first joined Fragomen as a Law Clerk and returned to the firm following her graduation from law school. During law school, she served as Vice Chair for the First-Generation Law Association and was the Student Writing Editor for the University of Miami Inter-American Law Review. Thalia was also a Fellow for the Health Rights Clinic, where she assisted low-income clients with immigration and social security matters.

Thalia has provided pro bono assistance to individuals from Haiti filing for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) through the University of Miami’s Health Rights Clinic. Her pro bono efforts have also included applications for humanitarian parole for Cubans and Venezuelans.

Thalia speaks English, French and Spanish.
