The global shift towards remote work has seen many countries introduce remote visas and policies to accommodate digital nomads working across borders. Kenya is no exception—according to the Kenya Private Sector Alliance, approximately 2.4 million Kenyans are currently working in the country remotely.
In response, Kenya has unveiled plans for an innovative tax strategy aimed at remote workers, potentially leading to increased revenue and attracting digital nomads.
