Anna is an Associate with Fragomen’s Government Strategies and Compliance Group based in Washington, DC. She primarily advises companies on complex immigration and compliance matters. Anna’s practice sits at the intersection of immigration, trade, and public policy. She works with companies on some of their most high-risk immigration-related government investigations (civil and criminal), including administrative enforcement proceedings, voluntary disclosures, grand jury investigations, subpoena productions and settlement negotiations. Anna represents multiple clients in immigration-related employment authorization and employment discrimination cases before the Department of Justice. Anna also offers insights on the impact impacts of policy, regulatory, and electoral developments on clients' immigration programs.
Anna came to Fragomen from another AmLaw100 firm in Washington, where she focused on international trade. Anna has experience advising companies on import/export matters, tariffs and economic sanctions. Her background in international trade brings a unique wide-lens perspective to help clients address their most complex cross-border challenges.
In addition to her corporate compliance work, Anna assists individual clients facing challenges with obtaining or maintaining their visas, helping them navigate complex issues of inadmissibility or other complicating factors. She maintains an active pro bono practice, with experience representing and advocating for refugees, asylees, unaccompanied minors and U-Visa petitioners.
