Daniel has built a practice that mirrors the complexity and opportunity within international immigration.

As a global immigration attorney, Daniel has developed an encyclopedic knowledge spanning the laws and policies of numerous countries. He has built an illustrious career on three continents guiding multinational companies in the creation of innovative global immigration programs. His experience is especially valued by the engineering and industrial manufacturing sectors, who require skilled workers to travel across the globe to repair or replace vital equipment and infrastructure at a moment’s notice. He also represents companies in the tech, financial, aviation and automotive industries.

He serves his clients by unifying the full suite of services available through the firm’s worldwide offices into programs that standardize and simplify travel between scores of countries. These bespoke programs respond to rapidly changing deployments while remaining unobtrusive and transparent by design.

Daniel's strategic approach and thought leadership make him an invaluable asset in navigating the immigration complexities of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and reorganizations. Recently, he helped a multinational conglomerate manage its split into several separate companies, a transaction that impacted the fate of more than 10,000 foreign nationals working in 120 countries worldwide. It was an intricate undertaking requiring seamless coordinated effort across multiple jurisdictions. He also helps companies evaluate the impact of immigration policy on overseas expansions, centering immigration as an essential component of business planning.

Daniel’s storehouse of knowledge began developing as a young lawyer coordinating the firm’s regional efforts from Fragomen’s Singapore office. Ever since, clients have relied on his ability to absorb and retain an impressive amount of relevant jurisdictional information, simplify it into clear and effective processes and quickly answer even the most unexpected queries.

Daniel maintains an active pro bono practice. He works with Project Citizenship, a nonprofit agency that provides free, high-quality legal and citizenship services to immigrants throughout Massachusetts and New England who cannot afford legal representation. The City Bar Justice Center relies on Daniel for assistance in their work with victims of violence and abuse who are seeking lawful U.S. residency. In his community, Daniel also serves as an Associate Member on the Zoning Board of Appeals.
