Namibia: Visa-on-Arrival Expanded to Three Additional Border Posts
December 22, 2023
The Ministry of Home Affairs, Immigration, Safety, and Security announced that visas-on-arrival will now be issued at three additional border posts in Namibia: Katima Mulilo, Ngoma, and Impalila Island. Travelers eligible for a visa-on-arrival should complete the visa application form, attach the supporting documents, and submit them to immigration officials at the border who will process the applications. Once the applications are approved, individuals will need to pay a fee of NAD 1,200 (approximately USD 65.36). The expansion of the visa-on-arrival initiative complements existing programs at the Hosea Kutako International Airport and Trans Kalahari and Walvis Bay border posts.
