Stephania is a vital member of Fragomen's Miami team, offering guidance to international and domestic corporations, multinational enterprises, foreign investors and professionals navigating the complexities of U.S. immigration law. Stephania's comprehensive understanding of various nonimmigrant and immigrant visa processes enhances her ability to provide tailored immigration solutions to her clients, solidifying her reputation as a trusted advisor in the field of immigration law.

Focusing on corporate immigration, Stephania advises multinational companies on obtaining both nonimmigrant and immigrant visas for their employees. Her experience covers a broad spectrum of visa categories, including L-1A/L-1B visas for multinational executives, managers, and specialized knowledge professionals, TN (Canada/Mexico) professionals, O-1A and O-1B individuals of extraordinary ability and H-1B Specialty Occupation professionals, as well as their country-specific equivalents, the H-1B1 (Chile/Singapore) and E-3 (Australian) visa professionals. She excels in navigating the complexities of the L-1 Blanket Petition program, guiding clients through corporate structuring to meet eligibility requirements and providing legal support throughout extension and amendment processes.

Stephania's experience extends to specialized areas within immigration law, including Physician and Nurse H-1Bs, as well as Schedule A PERMs for Nurses. With comprehensive knowledge in these areas, she effectively assists healthcare professionals and employers in securing appropriate visas and navigating employment-based immigration processes. Additionally, Stephania regularly advises clients on E-2/E-1 Treaty Visas, as well as the EB-5 Investor Program (Pre and Post RIA). She also focuses on guiding clients through eligibility for merit-based self-sponsorship immigrant visa (green card) processes, including the EB-1A, Extraordinary Ability Petition and EB-2, National Interest Waiver. Her practice frequently involves assisting high net worth clients with immigration concerns related to intricate tax matters, collaborating with international tax counsel to develop strategic planning strategies.

Prior to joining Fragomen, Stephania focused on business immigration, as well as family-based immigration at a national law firm. She has successfully represented individuals before the U.S. Immigration Courts and regularly advised clients on the immigration consequences of criminal dispositions.

Stephania’s pro bono experience includes representing a Special Immigrant Juvenile client before the Florida Dependency Court, U.S. Immigration Court and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, and recently assisted three Afghani families in applying for Humanitarian Paroles to flee the Afghani Humanitarian Crisis
