AMSTERDAM/BRUSSELS – 17 October 2024 – Fragomen, the world’s leading provider of immigration services, is pleased to announce a leadership transition within its Benelux offices.
Jo Antoons, the current Managing Partner of the firm’s Brussels office, is shifting her focus to leading and bolstering the Fragomen Consulting initiative within the region, providing companies with European-wide strategic mobility solutions underpinned by cutting-edge technology and concentrating on short-term intra-EU travel and compliance. Based in Brussels, she will drive the firm's government strategies and advisory services for Europe, working closely with various European institutions on European immigration policy.
Christine Sullivan, currently serving as Managing Partner of the firm’s Amsterdam office, will step into the role of Managing Partner of the Benelux regional hub, and oversee operations and strategic growth in Fragomen’s Luxembourg, Belgium and Netherlands offices.
Since joining Fragomen 12 years ago, Antoons has been instrumental in the growth of the Benelux strategy, expanding the team and broadening services from government advisory to strategic cross-border counsel.
“I’m looking forward to focusing on the growth of Fragomen’s government consulting strategy and advancing our work in immigration policy across the EU,” said Antoons. “Building a strong consulting practice in the region will help our clients navigate the increasingly complex regulatory landscape while reinforcing the firm’s position as a leader in advisory services.”
Sullivan has played a key role in expanding Fragomen’s presence in the Netherlands, driving the growth of the firm’s immigration practice and establishing it as a critical part of the broader Benelux regional hub.
“I’m honored to take on this new opportunity and continue to work closely with our talented teams across the region,” said Christine Sullivan. “The Benelux region represents a key area for growth and innovation, and I look forward to building on the incredible foundation that Jo and I have developed together.”
"Thanks to Jo and Christine’s leadership, Fragomen’s Benelux practice has evolved into a key hub for strategic European services and a benchmark for cross-border collaboration. Their vision and deep knowledge are essential to the firm's ongoing success in the region, and I’m confident that both our firm and our clients will greatly benefit from their continued contributions in these new roles,” said George Koureas, Managing Partner, Europe.
