WASHINGTON, D.C./MATAWAN, N.J./BOSTON, MA – January 2, 2024 – Fragomen, the world’s leading provider of immigration services, announces new Managing Partners of its Washington, D.C., Matawan and Boston offices, effective January 1, 2024.

Priscilla Muhlenkamp will assume leadership of the Washington, D.C. office from Andrew Greenfield who will transition to Senior Counsel. Greenfield steered the firm’s presence in Washington through tremendous growth since 2006 and served on Fragomen’s Executive Committee for nearly 10 years.

“I have worked with Priscilla for nearly 20 years and am thrilled that she is stepping into this new leadership role. She is a tremendous attorney and an admired mentor to many,” noted Greenfield, who added, “Priscilla has been instrumental in driving important changes and implementing new initiatives for the benefit of our clients, and I know she will continue to take the practice to the next level.”

“I’m honored to lead our Washington, D.C. office as we embark on a new year and a new chapter of Fragomen’s story and look forward to collaborating with our talented team as we deliver exceptional results for our clients,” said Muhlenkamp. “I’m grateful to Andy for his leadership and friendship over the years and glad that we will continue to work together in his new capacity.”

Muhlenkamp advises multinational corporations in IT, management consulting, energy, consumer goods, telecommunications and non-profit sectors on employment-related immigration issues, with a particular focus on strategic immigration planning and regulatory compliance. Additionally, Muhlenkamp provides pro bono, immigration assistance to service members through the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s Military Assistance Program.

Rahul Shah will helm the firm’s headquarters in Matawan, New Jersey, taking over from Gwen Robosson who retires following a trailblazing 40-year career and previous role on Fragomen’s Executive Committee. Shah represents a variety of multinational clients across a broad range of industries, including software development, audit, tax, and advisory services, human capital management solutions, e-commerce and energy, supporting them with a wide range of nonimmigrant visa programs, permanent residence matters and compliance services. He serves as a member of the firm’s IT Consulting Group and Pro Bono Ambassadors network, while also guiding and supporting several DEI initiatives within the Matawan office.

“Knowing well Rahul’s commitment to excellent legal guidance, client service and to the team in Matawan, I am extremely pleased that Rahul will carry the practice forward with these crucial attributes. I know that our clients and colleagues will benefit from Rahul’s strong collaboration and strategic views in all topics that I have had the privilege of experiencing in working with Rahul over many years,” said Robosson.

“Gwen has been an inspiration and a mentor, not only to me, but to numerous attorneys and other professionals across the firm. I’m humbled and excited to have been appointed to lead our Matawan office and to continue building on Gwen’s incredible legacy,” said Shah.

Catherine Macris assumes leadership of the Boston office, taking over from Scott FitzGerald who retires following more than 30 years with the firm and several key leadership roles. Macris provides advice on programmatic immigration policies, helping clients across a number of industries, including online retail, biotechnology, fashion design and power management, bridge talent gaps through sound immigration solutions and maintain compliance with changing regulations. Macris serves on the firm’s People Committee and advises on standardization and other process and data-related projects. Dedicated to her community, Macris serves as Co-Chair of the Board of the Charlestown YMCA, overseeing initiatives that support the well-being of youth and senior citizens.

“I couldn’t be more excited for Catherine as she steps into this new role—she is already an exceptional leader, whose sense of calm and analytical thinking amidst challenges consistently puts her colleagues at ease. Clients also trust her implicitly to lead them through complex challenges, and I know she will continue to help them achieve success in the future,” said FitzGerald.

“It’s an honor to serve as the leader of our Boston office alongside our dynamic team and following on Scott’s incredible leadership,” said Macris. “I’m thankful for his mentorship and guidance throughout the years and am heartened that many across the office share similar sentiments,” she stated.
