- Djibouti's immigration system provides several options for employers of foreign nationals. There is no defined list of acceptable business visitor activities in Djiboutian law.
- While there is no defined list of acceptable business activities under Djiboutian law, foreign nationals may perform most activities as business visitors, provided they do not enter into a local employment contract. All foreign nationals except Singaporean nationals require an entry visa to Djibouti.
- A consular Business Visa can be granted for multiple entries (if requested) and a stay of up to 90 consecutive days. The Business eVisa is a single-entry digital visa that allows an initial stay of 30 days, which can be extended to a total stay of 90 days.
- The primary work authorization category is the Work License, typically granted for one year initially. Foreign nationals must obtain a residence permit, which is also issued for an initial period of one year.
