Bermuda Immigration Services

Business Visitors may stay in Bermuda for up to 21 days per visit, with the possibility of discretionary in-country extensions for a maximum of 21 additional days. All travelers seeking entry to Bermuda must hold a passport valid for at least 45 days beyond the period of intended stay, or beyond the validity of their work permit.  
Foreign nationals conducting activities outside of the prescribed list of business activities must obtain a work permit, such as a Short-Term Permit valid for up to six months or a Periodic Permit for stays of up to 30 days per each visit.   
A Standard Work Permit, valid from one to five years, is used by companies in Bermuda to employ foreign nationals provided they can demonstrate that a Bermudan, spouse of a Bermudan, or a permanent resident is not suitably qualified or available for hire.​​
Bermuda also offers a residence authorization for remote workers. The One Year Residential Certificate allows foreign nationals who are employed with or own a company operating outside of Bermuda to reside in and work remotely from Bermuda, provided they can demonstrate sufficient means or continuous source of income to support themselves and their family during their stay in Bermuda. This visa does not allow gainful employment in Bermud​a.
