About Republic of Guinea

Whether your company is sending employees to the Republic of Guinea or expanding your worldwide footprint—Fragomen is here to help. Our experienced immigration professionals partner with businesses of all sizes to develop immigration strategies that can help you achieve your goals.

  • The immigration laws of the Republic of Guinea are relatively restrictive. Requirements, processing times, employment eligibility, and benefits for accompanying family members vary by visa classification.
  • The maximum allowable consecutive stay as a business visitor is 90 days (renewable once for 90 days). Most nationalities require a business visa.
  • Foreign nationals (excluding the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) nationals) are ordinarily granted a Long-Term Work Permit for a period of one year and can renew it annually. However, a foreign national's work contract duration can only be up to a period of four years. Therefore, the Work Permit in the Republic of Guinea cannot be renewed more than four times.

If you have questions, please contact the global immigration profesional with whom you work at Fragomen or send an email to [email protected].

Get in touch with Fragomen and one of our team members will be in touch with you shortly.
